Software Licensing &
Intellectual Property

At Kemet Technologies, we invest significant time, expertise, and resources into developing our software solutions. All management systems, source code, designs, databases, workflows, user interfaces, documentation, and related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Kemet Technologies unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Purchasing, subscribing to, or licensing any Kemet Technologies software grants the client a right to use the software under the terms of the license agreement. It does not transfer ownership of the software or its intellectual property.

All Kemet Technologies products, including but not limited to:

• Point of Sale (POS) Systems
• Laundry Management Systems
• Car Wash Management Systems
• Hotel Management Systems
• Loan & Debtor Management Systems
• Accounting Software
• Appointment & Visitor Management Systems
• Attendance & Payroll Systems
• Custom Software Solutions

remain the intellectual property of Kemet Technologies. Clients receive a license to use the software and do not acquire ownership rights to:

• Source code
• Database structure
• System architecture
• Design elements
• Branding components
• Proprietary algorithms
• Documentation
• Custom-developed modules unless expressly transferred

Upon successful payment, Kemet Technologies grants the client a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for their internal business operations.

Any unauthorized copying, distribution, resale, modification, reverse engineering, or commercial exploitation of Kemet Technologies software constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and applicable copyright laws.

Kemet Technologies reserves the right to:

• Suspend software access
• Terminate licensing agreements
• Seek financial damages
• Pursue legal remedies
• Report intellectual property infringement to relevant authorities

Evidence of infringement may include:

• Source code similarities
• Database structures
• System design patterns
• Copyright notices
• Digital fingerprints
• Licensing records
• Audit logs
• Hosting and deployment records

All software developed by Kemet Technologies is protected under applicable:

• Copyright laws
• Intellectual property laws
• Software licensing regulations
• International copyright treaties where applicable

The absence of visible copyright notices does not remove Kemet Technologies' ownership rights.

Clients agree to:

• Use the software only for lawful purposes
• Protect account credentials from unauthorized access
• Report suspected security breaches promptly
• Comply with all licensing terms and conditions
• Ensure employees and third-party contractors do not misuse the software

• Customizations developed specifically for a client remain the property of Kemet Technologies unless a separate written agreement explicitly transfers ownership.
• Kemet Technologies may reuse general concepts, frameworks, methodologies, and non-client-specific components in future projects.
• Client business data always remains the property of the client.

To protect intellectual property and maintain service integrity, Kemet Technologies may maintain:

• License validation systems
• Usage monitoring
• Security audits
• Access logs
• Software version tracking

These measures are solely intended to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and protect both the client and Kemet Technologies.

A software license grants the right to use the software only. It does not transfer:

• Copyright ownership
• Intellectual property rights
• Trademark rights
• Patent rights
• Source code ownership

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by Kemet Technologies.
